The Coaching Education Intensive is designed for squash coaches who want to deepen their understanding of coaching and athlete development.
During the week, participants learn inside a professional squash club environment through workshops with Rich King, live coaching observation, and collaborative discussion, exploring coaching philosophy, technical and tactical development, effective session structure, and practical ideas that can be applied immediately within their own coaching environments.
Drawing on more than 25 years of experience as both a professional player and coach, Rich shares the systems, methods, and insights that have shaped his approach to developing players across all levels of the game.

This week is for coaches across a wide range of experience levels, from coaches starting out to experienced coaches looking for fresh ideas.
It’s particularly valuable for club coaches, former competitive players moving into coaching, and coaches working with junior or academy players.
Each day includes a morning workshop led by Rich, an afternoon break, and evening shadowing sessions. Example workshops: Squash 101 (fundamentals), The World of Technique, High Performance, Tactics & Match Analysis, and Session Structure & Coaching Systems.
There are also coached shadow sessions and a final group clinic.
The tuition covers all programme sessions and workshop materials.
Limited to 12 participants per cohort to preserve the learning environment and access to Rich.
Participants receive a course completion note / summary of learnings.
Comfortable coaching or court wear, notebook, racket and shoes for shadowing/practical sessions. We’ll provide workshop materials.
This is a coach education programme for adults, not a player development camp for kids.
Coaches with minimal experience can attend, though the content also supports more experienced coaches, each participant will be able to take away practical, applicable ideas suited to their level.
